Summer has officially ended although (in our neck of the woods) summer weather is sure to stick around for a while. We hope everyone had an opportunity to enjoy the summer as well as spend quality time with their family.
SMS has started a new feature on our web site. Starting this month (posted already) and every month, SMS will offer special savings to those who contact us through this section. These special saving offers will only be posted and not snail mailed. Therefore, those faithful viewers of our site will have the opportunity to save money.
Additionally, the National Academy of the Moving Image is gearing up for the fall classes and seminars. We will post the information as it becomes available. The first class already slated is a beginning filmmaking class which will meet every Thursday night from 6 - 8 PM for eight weeks.
SMS has also been busy adding the best glass (optics) to our rental inventory. Compatible with Super 16, we now have the Angenieux 7-81 Zoom, the Canon 11-165 Zoom and the Zeiss Ultra Prime Distagon lenses (16mm, 24mm, 50mm and 85mm). Feel free to stop by and take a look.
The summer has also been very active with clients purchasing filters, KATA bags, and Century Precision lens accessories. Used equipment is moving quickly and people are enjoying their cameras, whether they be video or film. Let's keep the momentum going!
