TCS TXM-14 Crystal Motor for Eclair NPR

• Fifteen Crystal Speeds
  • Includes every 60 Hz HMI speed from 12 to 40 FPS (also you can use 10 FPS.) Includes every 50 Hz HMI speed from 10 to 33-1/3 FPS. Recessed speed switch to avoid damage or accidental actuation.

• Milliframe Controller Socket
  • Plug in the TMC or TMC2 Milliframe Controller for 30,000 crystal speeds from 10 to 40 FPS. Or, use the economical Videoframe Controller with just the 23.976 and 29.970 speeds. All have a phase button. The TXM-14 has a consistent (not synthesized) frame pulse output for strobe sync, deluxe controllers or external footage counter. Accuracy of internal speeds is ±3 ppm or .0003%.

• Shutter Parking
  • Stops in the viewing position every time, so you are instantly ready to compose and start a new shot. After parking, the power is then automatically shut down completely (except for any connected accessories.)

• Sync Alarm
  • A red light shows if the crystal or external speed is not being maintained.

• Compact and Light Weight
  • Measures about 5-1/2" long and 6" high, 4" wide. Weighs just over 5 pounds.

• General
  • Power input is 12 volts DC through a side mounted, right angle 4-pin XLR male receptacle. Partly CNC machined from solid chunks of aluminum, with the case CNC fabricated from 1/8" aluminum. Finished in "granite" powder coat with silk screened white and green legends. Has 3/8" and 1/4" tripod threads. Front mounted run-stop switch. Floating neutral motor mount for low noise and to eliminate problems with alignment. Motor has porous bronze sleeve bearings and turns only once per frame, for minimum noise.
