Lowel Light Kits

Each Lowel Kit has been created from one or more of their award winning lighting systems to offer the user a logical selection of lights and components at a savings over individual prices.

Many Lowel kits have room for additional light-controls and mounting accessories; and in some cases, one or more lights and stands. You can also create a Lowel kit to suit your exact needs. Order an empty case and only the equipment needed. Don't buy more than you expect to use, since supplementing the kit at a later time is simple.

Many kits are available with additional hard or soft case options. Suggested options are listed with the particular kit. In addition, some cases can be converted to hold different lights with movable partitions or accessory foam inserts.

The ability to go from carry bag to stand, fully set up in one minute, makes Lowel's Rifa-lite the easiest portable soft-light to use. Beautiful results are also easy to achieve. In fact, the Kits shown on these pages were all lit exclusively with Rifa-lites.

Rifa-lite Kits are available for each of the 4 models (250, 500, 750 and 1000w). They come with stands and lamps and have soft case options. There are also Rifa System Plus Kits, which add the versatile 250w focusing Pro-light as a compact key, accent or backlight to further enhance the Rifa Kit's capabilities. They also have daylight correction gels for both Rifa and Pro.

LowelScandles Kits combine the unique 8-lamp cluster of the Scandles light with collapsible cone reflector/softbox and Uni Sr. Stand in 1 or 2 light Kits, each with a choice of tungsten or daylight corrected fluorescent lamps.

A kit without lights that helps to better control the lights you use, with its varaible focus lever. Also perfect for out-door use, it anchors to the ground and won't flicker in the wind. Variflector rolls up into case.

The tiny L-light is a highly versatile accent option. With its mounting plate and stand-fitting possibilities, it can light from just about anywhere you can run a power cable. L-lights are available in kit form with accessories and your choice of hard or soft case. A perfect secondary kit to complement any larger kit, you'll be surprised how many times you pull them out to solve tricky little lighting problems.

Back in action after a brief retirement, the original Lowel-light has been updated with a heavier duty AC cable, a larger mounting base-plate, and an ETL approval. This perennial grip truck favorite is available in kit form with an updated case and, as always, a roll of the original Gaffer-tape.
