GENERAL INFORMATION

Please read carefully:

Weekly Rates for production equipment are three times the daily rate. Weekly rates for editing and projection are four times the daily rate.

Check-in time is 10:00 A.M. -- Equipment checked in by 10:00 A.M. will not be billed for that day.

Check-Out Time is 3:00 P.M. -- Equipment checked out after 3:00 P.M. will not be billed for that day.

Minimum billing time is one day.

Rentals do not apply to equipment purchase.

Out of town billing: Minimum billing is two days for all out of town shipments. Billing starts the day you want the equipment to arrive and continues until the time equipment is returned to our facility. Rental rates do not include shipping and handling charges. Lessee is responsible for these charges. All shipments must be insured for the full value of the equipment. Lessee is responsible for all equipment from the time the equipment leaves SMS to the time it is returned to the SMS facility.

Client (Lessee) is fully responsible for any loss or damage to the rented equipment.

Insurance: Client (Lessee) is required to carry insurance for the full value of the rented equipment. A Certificate of Insurance naming SMS Productions, Inc. as Loss Payee and Additional Insured is required prior to the time of pick up. A security deposit may be requested for the deductible. Different arrangements can be made only prior to the rental, if applicable.

Spare Lamp Policy: Spare lamps are provided where needed. If a spare lamp is used, client will be charged the SMS Lamp Catalog price.

Spare Battery Policy: Where spare batteries are provided, there is no charge for the extra batteries unless they are used or missing from the rental package upon return of the equipment.
